Listening to Residents
Corey has heard from many residents over the last number of years and if he is elected, he will focus his energy on implementing the vision residents have for Cornwall:
Housing
- Partner with stakeholders to increase housing options in Cornwall.
- Facilitate community meetings to directly hear from Cornwall’s seniors on what the municipal government can do to support them.
- Work with residential housing developers as well as NGO sector departments to attract more affordable housing options to the town.
Recreation
- Prioritize the enhancement of recreation programs, services and green spaces throughout the community.
- Continue to support active transportation within the municipality
Transit
- Increase transit budget for the addition of more T3 Transit routes during the weekday evenings and weekends.
Traffic Safety
- Collaborate with council, staff, RCMP and provincial TI officials to improve traffic safety in the town.
- Increase budget for more speed humps and other traffic safety signage.
A Vision for Cornwall
This is one of the most important time’s in Cornwall’s history and we need to have a vision for the future of our great town.
